If your child already attends a Secondary School and you wish to change schools, please complete the Enrolment Enquiry Form.
In 2024, Yarrabing Secondary College will be enrolling Year 7 only.
In 2025, Yarrabing Secondary College will be enrolling Year 7 and Year 8.
In 2026, Yarrabing Secondary College will be enrolling Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9.
In 2027, Yarrabing Secondary College will be enrolling Year 7, Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10.
In 2028, Yarrabing Secondary College will be enrolling Year 7, Year 8, Year 9, Year 10 and Year 11.
In 2029, Yarrabing Secondary College will be enrolling Year 7, Year 8, Year 9, Year 10, Year 11 and Year 12.
The College follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy for the enrolment, placement and transfer of students.

School Zone and Evidence of permanent residence
Students who live within the school zone are guaranteed a place at the College. Our school zone is available on www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria. Please check if your home address is within the Yarrabing Secondary College zone before completing the enrolment enquiry form.
During the enrolment enquiry process, a residential address check will be completed. This will include documents to verify your child’s permanent residence. Information about the residential address check can be found via the fact sheet from the Department of Education.
To verify a student’s permanent residence, parents/carers are required to provide supporting documentation. Any combination of the following documents is acceptable, as long as they add up to at least 100 points.
International Students
If your children reside in Australia on a visa, and you are unsure if they are considered to be an international student, please contact the Enrolment Coordinator at the College. The Enrolment Coordinator will be able to confirm with you if your child is eligible to apply directly to the College or will direct you to the International Education Division.

Transition Year 6 to Year 7
The transition from primary school into secondary school is an important one. At Yarrabing Secondary College, we provide your child with a range of supports to help make this transition as smooth as possible.
Year 7 Enrolment from Government Primary Schools
If your child currently attends a Government Primary School, the enrolment process is managed by their Primary School during Grade 6. Applicants for Year 7 enrolment must complete a ‘Secondary School Selection’ form which is available from your Primary School. The completed form should be returned to your Primary School for processing.
Year 7 Enrolment from Private or Catholic Primary Schools
If your child currently attends a Private or Catholic Primary School you will need to complete our Enrolment Enquiry Form or you can obtain the appropriate Enrolment Enquiry form directly from the College General Office. The form must be returned to Yarrabing Secondary College by early May.
